Jenny Loves Walks

Jenny is almost 18 months.  She has such a sweet personality.  She is really obsessed with shoes rights now.  Mostly because when we get shoes on, we go outside.  She LOVES to go outside and play.  Doesn't matter if it's cold or warm, raining or snowing, she wants to be outside.  She loves shoes so much that it was even one of her first words.  She started saying it a couple weeks ago.  But it sounds like "zhooos."  After we get her shoes on she stands up and points to the place where her coat is.  She knows she needs it if she is going to go outside.
Jenny put on the rabbit ears and the "zhoo" all by herself.

This was the first time Tara ever got her pig tails to work.  It seems like her hair grows really slowly. And of course she has one shoe on. . .
Might be time to move her over to the big girl bed.  She is starting to outgrow her old bed.  Here, she has her feet propped up on the wall.  Why do kids always look so comfortable when they sleep?
Jenny wants to go outside, can you tell?
She decides where to go . . .

It was a pretty day.

 She is her father's daughter!

Falling into the slush!

But she's still smiling!

Had to even out the wetness on the other side. . .

She gets up, and thinks about it.  "Hmm am I OK to stay out here a bit longer?"
Yep, she wants to trek onward to the . . .

 SWINGS!

On the way back we have to examine the water with our finger. . .

 Then our feet!

And again with our hand as it falls off the carport.

Even after all that she did not want to go inside!  I had to snatch her up and carry her inside.  We can't wait till spring and summer when we can spend more time outside!
