Our life with Ryder

Ryder is almost 8 weeks old now! We love having him around and his life has not been slow since coming to our family. Jenny loves him especially! She is so good at helping to take care of him. She "shhs" him when he cries and tried to give him his binky whenever possible. She loves laying on the ground with him and holding him. But above all else she loves to give him kisses! Anytime she can sneak in a kiss you can count on her doing it. She really is an amazing big sister! Ryder is a chunk! He is outgrowing his 3 months clothes already and weighing over 12 lbs! Too bad he still needs his car seat because it is getting heavy to lug around.

On a Jenny note she is occasionally sleeping in her big girl bed(we're not pushing it too much yet. so she chooses when she sleeps there) and sleeps so well in it-no trying to escape. She also uses the potty on occasion! I wish she would always want to use it but I'm just glad she uses it when she does! She loves to vacuum, color, and play with her dolls and swim. She loves jumping(and is getting pretty good at it) and jabbers like crazy(most I can understand too).
