Monday Jenny turned one week old! Her first week was spent mainly in the hospital supposedly letting mommy rest and heal but they don't let you sleep much so we got out of there as soon as possible on Thursday plus daddy had gotten diagnosed with strep so it was time to head home.
It has been the most amazing week of my life thus far. While emotions ran wild we all survived and things have calmed down quite a bit. Jenny truly is the best baby ever. She has the calmest, most patient disposition ever. She doesn't cry but instead simply makes sounds to get mommy's attention when she needs something. Even when something is bugging her all she does is give a little yelp then just waits patiently. Even better she doesn't like to wake up during the nights to feed so the doctor told me to let her sleep through the night. Sadly, since he gave this order she hasn't had the desire to sleep through the night again. She fits into our family perfectly and puts up with her daddy's pestering so well.
Thought we'd share some pictures from her first week of life. We've had so much fun with her and love every chance we get to bond with her.
